WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This unit is suitable for those working in supervisory roles, generally responsible for the output of others, contribute to the development of technical solutions to non-routine problems and apply management plans to the workplace. It for personnel who are required to issue appropriate permits to work to persons conducting a variety of activities in workplace environments in which hazards exist or specific procedures need to be followed and monitored to protect the safety of personnel and the integrity of plant or process.

Delivery Mode : Face to face
Amenities: Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Kitchen facilities are available for those who wish to bring their own lunch. A lunch bar is 100m away.

STUDENT REQUIREMENT
Students must have the language, literacy, numeracy (LLN) and physical capabilities to meet the performance criteria of this unit. (For further information or if you have any concerns regarding LLN and/or physical capabilities please contact the office)
Students must have the ability to read and write English and be able to perform practical and theoretical assessment as required.
Students must wear standard work wear, enclosed safety shoes, long shirt and pants.
NOTE: PRE-ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
THIS EVIDENCE MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE COURSE. PARTICIPANTS CANNOT ATTEND THIS COURSE WITHOUT PROVIDING THIS EVIDENCE.

UPON COMPLETION
Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and wallet sized card for:

MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
COURSE OUTLINE
prepare for work in the confined space
provide information about working in confined spaces
ensure safety and health of other entering and working in a confined pace
supervise entry and work in a confined space
implement confined space emergency and rescue systems
withdraw from confined space and facilitate return to service
