CTF Funding Information
This Course is delivered in two parts and the ONLINE component must be completed before attending a face to face classroom based session.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to perform a rescue from live low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus in an electricity supply industry (ESI) environment. It includes the organisational workplace requirements for the inspection and use of live LV panel rescue equipment, and how it applies to ESI workers to meet work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS), mobility and mutual aid requirements. This course is for participants undertaking work in the vicinity of live electrical equipment such as low voltage switchboard situations or powerlines.
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus and may include non-electrical workers. It includes compliance with safe approach distances for the worker, plant, tools and equipment.
COURSE DETAILS
Duration: 1 Hour Online and 4.5 Hours in the Classroom
Delivery Mode: Online and Face to face
Where: Unit 2, 84 Solomon Road, Jandakot WA 6164.
Amenities: Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Kitchen facilities are available for those who wish to bring their own lunch. A lunch bar is 100m away.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Students must have the language, literacy, numeracy (LLN) and physical capabilities to meet the performance criteria of this unit. (For further information or if you have any concerns regarding LLN and/or physical capabilities please contact the office)
Participants must have the ability to read and write English and be able to perform practical and theoretical assessment as required.
Students must wear standard work wear, enclosed safety shoes, long shirt and pants.
PRE-REQUISITES
The prerequisite unit is included in this course and must be completed online prior to attending.
UPON COMPLETION
Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and wallet sized card for:
